Warm and energise at this blended Yang Hatha Flow class, that will help to build muscle strength, flexibility and improve your energy fluidity. I encourage you to feel and sense into the subtleties of each movement with breath, so you can start to sense the practise, from the inside out.
This class can be practised alone, or followed up with the energy balancing slower paced yin class, at 19:55.

Yang Hatha Flow

Slow down your Tuesday evening and snuggle into the support of your blankets, pillows or bolsters, where I guide you through a Yin practise for 75 minutes. This floor based class that is great for easing tight muscles and accessible to anyone nursing injuries or restrictions.
Yin Yoga is based on Taoist, restorative and meditative principles focusing on stillness and calm. Postures are passively held for longer periods (five to seven minutes) helping to stretch connective tissue, finding space in the body, while directing energy around the main meridian pathways (same as the acupuncture energy body map).
This class can be done on its own. Or you can practice Yang to Yin, by booking the Yang Hatha Flow 18:45 - 19:45, perfectly warming and preparing your body to ease into the Yin practise.

Join me for a 90 minutes blissful restorative yoga class that will leave you rested and restored.
Nestle down into your blankets, pillows or bolsters, where I'll guide you to feel as comfortable and supported, so you can let go, rest and restore. This floor based class, that can be accessible to anyone nursing injuries or restrictions.
Restorative yoga is a much slower paced class with fewer postures (approx five to eight) that are held longer (around five to ten minutes each), utterly supported by lots of props. This allows time to journey inwards, focus and release into the poses using the breath. The practice aids relaxation, calms the mind and nervous system, helping you to restore and heal.

From the comfort of your own home, you'll be guided through a mindful and gentle flow. The session will ease you into poses gently, gradually improving body awareness and strength. The class ends with a gradual wind down & relaxation, leaving you feeling stronger, yet relaxed, nourished & restored.
Following the class grab yourself a cuppa and chat with our friendly group till about 12 noon.

Those who joined earlier in the week may notice subtle shifts when practicing additional progressive and more challenging postures. Gentle Hatha Flow yoga is ideal for beginners to intermediates, or those looking for a slower and mindful flowing class that still helps to tone and build up muscle strength. You’ll be taught when and how to apply modifications and variations, keeping you comfortable and safe, whilst also nurturing your home practice and improving your mobility.

Yoga for Horse Riders

Specialist classes developed for those who ride or work with horses. Melé is a keen rider herself and holds an HND in Equine Studies. She’s found Yoga improved her riding and deepened her relationship with horses.
These classes will focus on specific muscle groups, developing strength and flexibility to help prevent injury and keep the body balanced. We’ll work on improving spatial awareness, postural alignment and balance, whilst maintaining fluidity so horse and rider can become one.
Non-riders can still benefit from these classes and are welcome too.

The sessions can be either be for an individual, semi private or small groups of up to four people. They are now being held online, so you can practise in the comfort of your own home. (depending on location) or at a local hall or venue (at an additional supplement).
