Join me in the bright, spacious and airy St Martins Hall.  For this longer 75 minute class, that will allow us to really feel the benefits of practising Yang to Yin, with relaxation and delicious Savasana at the end!

We'll explore the different energies generated through a Yang (energising) and Yin (calming stillness and depth) practise. 

We will warm and energise as we progressively work through a mindful dynamic and flowing Yang asana (postures) practice.  That will help to build muscle strength, energy fluidity and develop your flexibility and spatial awareness.

In the Yin portion we'll slow things right down, tapping into restorative and meditative principles of Yin, focusing on stillness and calm.  Postures are passively held for longer periods helping to free connective tissue, while directing energy around the main meridian pathways.

I will encourage you to feel and sense into the subtleties of the different energies cultivated through Yang to Yin.  The two practises combined will help you to reset, rebalance and restore :)Mixed ability class, beginners welcome.

Restorative Yin Yoga and Sound Thurs.png

Join me for an hour of Restorative Yin Yoga and sound session.

Nestle down into your blankets, pillows or bolsters, where I'll guide you to feel as comfortable and supported, so you can let go, rest and restore.
  
The session will end with a sound meditation where you will be bathed by the vibrations and sounds of the Tibetan singing bowls and more.

The beauty of the session being later in the evening, means you can head straight home and to bed afterwards.


Restorative yin and Restorative yoga is a much slower paced class with fewer postures (approx five to eight) that are held longer (around five to ten minutes each), utterly supported by lots of props. This allows time to journey inwards, focus and release into the poses using the breath. The practice aids relaxation, calms the mind and nervous system, helping you to restore and heal.

Mixed ability class, beginners welcome.

Join me back at St Mary's and Nichols Church Hall Leatherhead.

You'll be guided through a mindful and gentle flow. The session will ease you into poses gently, gradually improving body awareness and strength.

The class ends with a gradual wind down & relaxation, leaving you feeling stronger, yet relaxed, nourished & restored.  
 

We'll follow the class with a cuppa and chat with our friendly group till about 12:00.

Yoga Class

Private classes can be a great way to refine or deepen your practice.  I can:

  •  Prepare you to join group classes.

  •  Delve into any particular postures you find challenging.

  •  Provide bespoke tailored plans for you, your injuries or ailments etc

  •  Look to provide classes on a day and time to suits you.

​

The sessions can be either be for an individual, semi private or small groups of up to four people.  They are now being held online, so you can practise in the comfort of your own home. I travel up to approximately 8 miles from Bookham. Locations further away can be arranged by separate agreement and supplement .

​

Classes can be booked individually or at a discounted block booking rates as follows.
